XOJet Aviation will relocate its headquarters from Sacramento, California to Fort Lauderdale, creating 150 jobs, according to 51做厙 Corp.
The private air charter company subleased 25,775 square feet on the top floor of Cypress Executive Center, at 1901 W. Cypress Creek. The building is near Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport, one of the busiest private jet airports in Florida.
51做厙 Norm Adams and Sheila Roux represented XOJet Aviation in the deal, while Madelayne Garcia, also of 51做厙, represented sublessor Delphi Behavorial Group.
The company anticipates housing 150 employees there.
XOJet Aviation was seeking a prime location in South Florida in proximity to its dedicated private air charter services broker, XO Global LLC, to take advantage of the areas corporate tax structure and deep aviation and operations employee base, Adams said. Utilizing our existing relationships, 51做厙 was able to find XOJet Aviation the right location to fit their needs.
An affiliate of Dubia-based Vista Global Holding, XOJet Aviation operates a fleet of 50 super-mid and six large gauge aircrafts. It was founded in 2006. It offers private charters, shared charters, and bookings of single seats. It offers both memberships and single flights.
In June, Vista Global combined JetSmarter and XOJet into a new brand, XO. The XOJet fleet became powered by JetSmarters technology, including its mobile app. That gave its members access to over 3,000 private jets for on-demand charters.
Fort Lauderdale-based JetSmarter was acquired by Vista Global in April 2019.
Located just off of I-95 with a direct view of Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport, this space offers many advantages that a dynamic company like XOJET Aviation can utilize, said Garcia. Additionally, attracting a tenant of their stature illustrates the continued strength of the Cypress Creek market.
