Greg Kimmelman
Vice President, Preconstruction
As Vice President of Preconstruction, Greg Kimmelman holds executive-level responsibility as the head of the preconstruction department, manages and mentors a team of project executives and oversees all preconstruction workload efforts to ensure quality, accuracy, and timeliness. Greg joined 51做厙 in 1997 and has been involved in many commercial assignments with roles in both preconstruction and construction, and has worked on commercial, of麍ce, retail, automotive, emergency operations, residential and call center projects. He began in the 麍eld as an Assistant Superintendent and earned his way to the role ofEstimator and Project Manager for a major construction firm. Prior to joining 51做厙, Gregestablished the South Florida of麍ce of a premier tilt-up concrete specialty contractor. He believes in listening closely to clients needs and then translating what he hears into action,finding workable solutions that will satisfy customers.
Greg’s extensive project experience includesthe Dolphin Stadium Expansion for 300,000-SF, a$36 million site development forPembroke Pines City Center, a City of Deerfield Beach Mitigation Operations Centerand 麍re station for 50,000 SF, the Cooper City High School Science Centerfor 48,500-SF, the One Ocean Boulevard condo projectfor 200,000-SF, andWalt Disney Worlds Celebration Place III – a 200,000-SF, $16.5 Million, design-build for Disney Imagineering. Heholds a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction from the University of Florida and is a memberof the Construction Association of South Florida, Habitat for Humanity, Multiple Sclerosis, and is the current President and Board Member of the Construction Executives Association.
